Restrict which users can be Contact Owners

Hi there,

I’d like to restrict who can be a Contact Owner and who cannot.

At the moment, any Hubspot user can be assigned as Contact Owner. I’d like to only show certain users as options for “Contact Owner”. Is this possible?

Unfortunately not, no, this is not possible. There aren’t any settings for this and I’m not aware of feasible workarounds either. You could however request this from the product in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community.

Currently, there’s no way to limit who can be assigned as a Contact Owner in HubSpot. Right now, any user with the appropriate permissions can be chosen for this role, and there aren’t any settings or workarounds to restrict this.
