I’m looking to restrict most of the HubSpot users in my company to have no access to edit/add companies. I understand that at the moment contacts and companies are linked permissions wise - which in itself is the problem as we still need them to add and edit contacts. Is there a clever solution around this at all? Whilst I’m at it, I may aswell ask if there is a way to restrict all users from deleting contacts and companies whilst still allowing them to edit properties?

Hey there @CG_Alex,
You are correct that you can’t segment Contacts from Companies in the permissions, but you could restrict to just what they own if that helps (Contact owner vs Company Owner). For example, you could set yourself as the company owner and they own the contact, that would prevent them from editing the company I believe since they wouldn’t own it.
As for the deletion, there is only the above mentioned and the ability to disable a user from doing bulk deletes:
