We need HubSpot to reintroduce the option to schedule the republication of existing blog posts after they have been updated.
We frequently update and republish live blog posts with significant changes to the content, metadata, images and other elements. These updates are often part of our ongoing SEO and AEO work.
For several years, we have been able to schedule the republication of an updated article, for example, one week or one month in advance. When republished, the article receives the new publication date and appears at the top of the blog listing page.
Recently, this functionality has stopped working across all the HubSpot accounts we manage. We can update an existing article immediately, but we can no longer schedule its republication for a future date.
This creates a significant workflow problem. Scheduling is essential when content needs to be published during holidays, vacations, weekends or other periods when no one is available to publish it manually. Immediate publication is not always a practical alternative.
