Hey HubSpot team,

It appears that the 429 “Too many requests” response that maintains the burst rate limit is also counting against our daily HubSpot API request limit.

Would like to see this response not count against the limit. Many of the automation tools in place (in general) implement retry attempts incase HubSpot blocks the request to maintain rate limits. The retry attempts can often keep failing and quickly accumulate to the daily value and break automation tools.

Hi @RLehrhaupt ,

That’s valid feedback, but it would be better to post this as an [idea](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas), so we can upvote it as well.
