Hi @ALYorkI, thank you for sharing your feedback and for voicing your frustrations, it’s completely understandable, and you’re not alone in wanting this feature.
As mentioned by @Phil_Vallender in this thread (thanks, Phil!), the current workaround is to create a list of non-openers and send a cloned version of your email to that segment.
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to upvote and comment on the existing Idea in our Ideas Forum: Enable Resending Email to “Non-Openers”.
The more feedback and use case details we can provide, the more visibility this request gets with our product team.
I’ve added my upvote as well and will make sure to share your feedback internally.
Thank you again for advocating for enhancements, it’s feedback like yours that helps drive improvements for the whole HubSpot community.
If you’d like step-by-step guidance on the current workaround, please let me know, I’m happy to help!
Have a great day!

Bérangère, I appreciate your official HubSpot reply and acknowledgement of this need! It’s a great feeling to know our voices are heard; Also love that Hub is actively trying to help customers find a workaround by replying to these posts; wondering, however: how many more times do we need to upvote or comment on this thread if Hub is aware of the problem and legitimizes the need? Instead of directing users to more upvotes, I’d just love to read a response that says, we hear you and our developers are working towards a solution. ~ cheers
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback, it’s truly appreciated!
I completely understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but I’ve checked in internally and, at the moment, this idea is not currently on our roadmap.
That said, our Product Team is definitely aware of it.
Please don’t hesitate to continue sharing your feedback (and upvote or comment on the idea post!): Enable Resending Email to “Non-Openers”
These requests are actively monitored by our team, and any future updates will be posted right in the thread, so you’ll always have the latest info.
On a related note, I wanted to quickly mention it’s generally not best practice to resend emails to people just because they didn’t have a recorded open.
Open rates aren’t always a reliable metric, this is true for any email service provider.
The ‘open’ is tracked by a tiny, invisible image (called a tracking pixel) that loads when someone opens the email.
If images don’t load automatically, or if the recipient is using a service or device that blocks tracking (like the Outlook preview pane or Gmail with clipping or Apple Mail on iOS 15+), that open might not be recorded, even if your email was read.
Because of these challenges, following up only with contacts that didn’t have a tracked open can sometimes lead to negative engagement or lower open rates on your resend.
I hope this context is helpful!
Thanks again for being part of the community, and wishing you a great day ahead!

Can we stop being asked to upvote very good UI and functionality suggestions? Its already so difficult to find the many many threads about the same topics unless a user is so disgrundled they’ve decided to waste hours of their day looking up solutions in the endless dark hole of community chat threads. We would all just appreciate it if the developers would take the best ideas to heart and brainstorm solutions and suggest a timeline for a fix or tell us its being worked on. The upvote process is unregulated, disheartening, exhausting, and unresolving. Thank you for listening.
We recognized this issue and have written an APP Home Page that integrates directly in your HubSpot account that does exactly this and more! We’re looking for Beta users and would love for anyone using HubSpot for this to look us up.
I wanted to sincerly apologize for my unintential abuse of the community guidelines.
In an effort to show good faith I would like to share that just today I did find that there is now a built in way to re-send an original campaign that is built in to HubSpot. I’m providing a link to the video where this is explained.
Mea Culpa… How To Resend Marketing Emails In Hubspot [2026 Guide]
And now I’m even more embarrassed had a typo in previous post and after reviewing the video a couple more times and trying to replicate it in HubSpot it was not an actual solution - they guy’s voice and video didn’t sync up right to where he was on the screen. My apologies - don’t bother with the link.
Hi @TAmuch,
No need to apologize at all, it happens to the best of us! Thanks for circling back and letting everyone know.
If you’re still looking for a working solution for re-sending to non-openers in HubSpot, feel free to post so we can take a look!
Cassie, Community Manager
Updating this thread with - what I think - is the best solution 2026 and a solution that does not require workflows, any third party apps and only a couple of clicks.
First send
Prepare recipient segment
Send marketing email
Resent to non-openers
Open first send (Menu > Marketing > Email > click on email)
In the Recipients tab, click Opened > Actions > Create a new segment
On the same page, at the top, clone your email (Actions > Clone)
Use the same recipient segment as for the original email, exclude the newly created segment of contacts who opened from the previous step
Adjust subject line and preview text of your resend
Send marketing email
This overall process shouldn’t take longer than 2 minutes.
In step 2, instead of an static segment, you could also create an active segment (Menu > CRM > Segment (Lists) > Create segment > Contacts > Add filter > Events > Marketing emails > select email > specify the open).
For those still wanting a one-click solution, I’d recommend upvoting this existing product request: Customize records - the product team reviews these requests based on popularity.
