Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make certain fields required before closing a ticket? For example, if I want to make my team pick client temperature and a ticket category before the ticket is closed. I want to be able to look at the data of general client demeanor as well as category and a couple others, but it would need to be a mandatory field to fill out in Help Desk before the ticket closed.
HubSpot support said this isn’t possible, but just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for workarounds or best ways to get these fields filled out with the least amount of friction?
Hi @ETvelia ,
Odd that Support said you can’t do this because I believe that you can. If you go to Settings > Objects > Tickets > Pipelines you will see this table-
You can make certain properties conditional for a given status by clicking ‘Edit properties’ under ‘Conditional status properties’.
You can click to make these required so they need to be filled in for a Ticket to enter a certain status.
Hope this asnwers your question!

Hi! I am trying to do the same thing but the logic is not working? I can still close the ticket without my necessary fields filled out.
