Echo this idea! It’s really a blocker for us that Lifecycle Stage cannot be used within conditional logic. I work around with a secondary property (Lifecycle2) that is conditional and syncs to Lifecycle Stage when a change hits in. But all the automatic properties (e.g. stage dates) need to be built manually to reflect that.
Please Hubspot, there is no reason to not allow Lifecycle Stage to be conditional!

Chiming in here. It would be great to have the same functionality for properties when moving through lifecycle stages as we do for moving through deal stages.

Yes, still unsure why this isn’t an option. This is probably the most important thing to have conditional logic around.
Is this really still outstanding? we have moved from Salesforce to Hubspot and I cant believe a simple validation rule based on lifecycle stage is not possible? Sort it out HS!

Has there been any progress on this? Feels like pretty basic functionality to still be missing. Data hygiene is a nightmare without it.

Hi all, Rachel from the HubSpot Product team here. I wanted to share an update: you can now use contact and company lifecycle stage in conditional property logic (product update link). This will allow you to show or require specific fields when records reach certain stages in your process. Quick demo
