Hello HubSpot team,
After implemented the new way to register Call Recordings we noticed that we are getting one request per Call right after marking the call recording as ready.
Before we were only requested when a user accessed the Call on HubSpot, but now receiving one request per Call marked as ready, and this increamented a lot the number of requests to the recordings URL, even when noone is trying listen the recording.
Is this expected?
There’s a way to avoid this new request right after marking the call recording as ready and still have the recording available?
Best regards,
Jorge
Hi @JSilva66,
It sounds like something changed with the new implementation if you’re seeing a request to the authenticated URL every time you mark a call as “ready,” that’s probably not expected behavior.
A few things to check,
Confirm if the callback URL or API is triggering a request automatically when the call status changes to “ready.” If it’s new behavior, it might be an unintended side effect of the update.
If possible, adjust your logic to prevent triggering the URL until someone actually tries to access the recording.
If nothing seems off on your end, it might be worth reaching out to HubSpot support to see if they’ve updated how recordings are handled. There might be a setting or workaround that we’re missing.
I hope it helps, let me know if you need to talk!

Hello Khushboo
I just tested on a new account, where noone is accessing the calls and we are really receiving an HTTP request whenever the call is marked as ready.
How can I reach out HubSpot support team?
Thank you
Jorge
@KhushbooP11 how can I talk with support regarding this issue?
Thanks
