Hi @CPalmer75,
How would you expect the feature to work? A/B tests need a specified timeframe where versions A and B are sent before their performance is compared. If you pair this with the timezone send, the entire test could take up to 48 hours, first sending tests to contacts across (potentially) all time zones, then waiting up to 24 hours again for the send of the winning version.
As a workaround, you could use the new random sample feature in lists (within the list editor, Actions > Random sample). You could create samples of a size of your liking, send separate emails, compare performance, send the winning version to the remainder of the contacts – while still using the timezone send feature. Again, however, you’d have to wait at least 24 hours before you can pick the winning version.
Best regards
Yes - using the Random Sample feature, I can pull out 50% of the Contacts; this is then a very good basis for a workaround for testing email a/b variations. Will give this a go. Thank you!
