Hi all,

I’m looking for a way in Hubspot to report on the following:

Is it possible to see how many of our 2500 contacts had an interaction with us? Like a webiste visite, link click, open mail, etc etc. So I don’t want to report on a campaign or one particular mail but on our whole database

Hi @KdeJong,

Yes and no. It’s not possible to create a report that will explore the database for you and return an overview of what kinds of interactions these contacts have had. You need to know in advance what you’re looking for – then HubSpot will tell you how many occurrences it can find.

Having said that, you would start by navigating to _Menu_ \> _Reports_ \> _Reports_ \> _Create custom report_ \> _Single object_ \> _Contact_.

Under _Filters_, you can now select properties that match what you’re looking for, e.g. a filter for “_Last marketing email open date_ is known” or “_Time last seen_ is known” (the last time and date the contact has viewed a page on your website). Click _Hide Filters_. You can now select the properties you want these contacts displayed by, e.g. how many contacts did open an email by _Lifecycle stage_.

Switch to the _Visualization_ tab, drag and drop your preferred properties (e.g. _Count of Contacts_ and _Lifecycle stage_) into the displaying area and choose a visualization. You would now see a report. (Feel free to play around, you could also display the average _Number of page views_ by _Lifecycle stage_.)

Instead of picking specific properties under _Filters_, you can also filter a whole report by a list. That opens up a few more options, especially because you can use the OR operator.

Let me know if you need help with any of the steps above!

Hi @KdeJong ,

There could be a way if we create a list with a few properties. For example, we could use the “last engagement date is known”, “last page seen is know” and “last marketing email open is known” to get at this.

I suspect this won’t capture all cases but would be a good measure for the types of interactions you’re looking to view.

Hope this helps!
