Hi, does Hubspot have a robust reporting ability for my company’s real sales revenue - by customer, by date, by SKU, by category, by sales rep, today’s sales, This YTD vs Last YTD, etc. I would even like it to show daily revenue on the fly. I am not looking for reporting on deals, but actual invoiced sales. We use QuickBooks for invoicing and I believe the two can be integrated to keep these reports live and up to date. We are a Manufacturing and Distribution Company with thousands of SKUs and hundreds of customers Is this possible and how would I get started.
Hi @SSwitzer4,

Hi @Bryantworks @Alex_Elborn and @louischausse Do you have any ideas on this for @SSwitzer4?
Thank you!

Hi @SSwitzer4 ,
Yes, HubSpot can report on actual sales revenue, but since HubSpot’s standard reports are based on deals, you’ll need to bring your invoicing data from QuickBooks into HubSpot. Once integrated, HubSpot can show revenue by customer, date, SKU, category, sales rep, and comparisons like Today vs. YTD or This Year vs. Last Year.
The QuickBooks–HubSpot integration (via HubSpot’s marketplace apps or tools like SyncQ, PieSync, or custom integrations) keeps your invoices synced so the reports are always up to date. After the sync, you can build custom reports and dashboards in HubSpot just like you would with deal data.
To get started:
- Connect QuickBooks to HubSpot.
- Map invoice fields (customer, SKU, category, rep, etc.) into HubSpot properties.
- Build reports and dashboards using those properties for real-time sales revenue tracking.
Thank you so much for getting back to me, this is terrific news.
I have a question about this comment: “HubSpot integration (via HubSpot’s
marketplace apps or tools like SyncQ, PieSync, or custom integrations)”
What is the purpose of these tools, SyncQ and PieSync.
Isn’t there a QuickBooks to Hubspot sync process established?
Thanks
Steve

Hi @WebGuruz_Tech, do you have any ideas on @SSwitzer4’s question above?

You’re right to separate “deal reporting” from actual invoiced sales. HubSpot on its own isn’t built to be a full accounting system, so its reporting is naturally centered around Deals, Pipelines, and CRM activities. But since you’re using QuickBooks for invoicing, you can bridge the gap.
HubSpot Native Limitations
- HubSpot reports don’t natively pull in invoice or SKU-level data from QuickBooks.
- Even if you use the QuickBooks <> HubSpot integration, you’ll only get partial data for some properties — not enough for detailed SKU/category/customer revenue reporting.
- You’d end up still doing a lot of exporting and stitching data together if you rely only on HubSpot.
I’d suggest trying Coefficient - it’s a certified app on HubSpot’s marketplace and is available on QBO marketplace as well. I do work there as an FYI - so happy to help. We offer 2-way connectors both both HubSpot and QuickBooks between Google Sheets and Excel.
With Coefficient, you could:
-
Pull your QuickBooks data into Google Sheets or Excel
- Bring in invoices, line items, SKU/category details, amounts, dates, and customers.
-
Blend with HubSpot data if needed
- Since Coefficient is also a 2-way HubSpot connector, you can pull in deal, contact, or rep-owner data.
- That way you can join “invoiced sales” from QuickBooks with “rep assignments” or “pipeline stages” from HubSpot.
-
Build flexible reports in Sheets/Excel
- Daily revenue (today’s sales, YTD vs LYTD).
- Breakdown by customer, SKU, category, rep.
- Snapshot views for investors or management.
-
Automate refreshes
- Set your HubSpot and QuickBooks data to refresh daily, hourly, or on-demand.
-
Keep everything visible in HubSpot
- This is optional, but if you’d like the visualization you built in spreadsheets inside of HubSpot, you can embed the dashboards directly into HubSpot using HubSpot’s Embed functionality in Dashboards.
Great information, thank you for the tip!!
