Hi,

We have multiple customers who wish to report on the SMSes sent/received to contacts using our integration. Our integration creates a custom activity each time a SMS is sent/received, but this doesn’t seem to be filterable.

Is there any way to pubish our events to the “SMS” activity category, or make them filterable in the reporting?

Hey @timtam1,

At the moment those new activity types aren’t opened up for us to utilize. Hopefully soon! As an alternative, you could instruct your users to use a particular naming convention to help identify these.

What do you mean by naming soultion to help here? There is no visibility into custom activities at all, as far as I can tell.

Hey @timtam1,

I would recommend you log a call/note with a naming convention like, “Text sent from integration: text message here”. So then in your reporting filters you can find notes containing “Text sent from integration:” to help report while waiting on HubSpot to open up the new activity types to integrations.
