Report to show best customers

Hi, hoping someone can help.

I am sure I have done this before but now can’t make it work.

The goal is to produce a spreadsheet showing our best companies in a year by amount spent.

So, in Deals, I am selecting a range between 1/1/2023 and 31/12/2023 and selecting a deal stage as Closed Won.

But how do I group these by companies.

For exmaple if i just sort by value I will get the biggest sales at the top, but a company might have had many smaller sales.

Anyone know a good way to show what I am trying to get too please?

Thanks

Hi @spotlight_sound,

It looks like you’re on a Starter subscription and I assume you’re trying to do this on the deal index page (Menu > Sales > Deals)? If so, this is unfortunately not possible here. You would have to export your view and then perform the analysis in Excel: Outline (group) data in a worksheet | Microsoft Support

In Professional subscriptions, the HubSpot report builder contains a pivot table visualization which can be used to accomplish what you’re trying to do. Create reports with the custom report builder

Best regards!

Thanks for the reply Karsten.

I’m conviced I managed to do it in Hubspot deals as you described before, then I exported to Excel. As the deals were not sorted by customer, they were combined. So if customer A had 3x deals at £100, it showed in a row as Customer A = £300. You’re right it was in the deal section, not the reporting section.

Thanks
