I want to add a report to my dashboard that displays the breakdown of a single property. We’ve got several properties with multiple check boxes and we ant to quickly see how the responses are distributed ( area of expertise, company size, etc). I can see this in form reports, but cannot add this to a dashboard and some of these properties are used across multiple forms.
Is there a way to do this? I can’t seem to make this work and haven’t found any examples of this outside of the form analysis tab.
Could you confirm if these are contact or company fields if they are coming in via a form? If so, are you including an element such as count of contacts/companies with the field you want a breakdown of?
Or is it more adding the report into a dashboard that is the issue rather than creating the report?
Hi @SMumbyHarrison thanks for the reply. This is a company field that’s coming in via a form. I’m not including the count of contact/companies with the field though.
I basically just want the bar chart that appears in a form analysis tab but on a dashboard. Given this field is used in multiple forms, I want the dashboard to display the data breakdown for the property across all forms.
Display Area of expertise across all contacts in a bar or pie chart
That makes sense now. So there is a limitation on form reporting as it brings the data straight to the objects, ie contacts and companies.
So I have one method around this, but it would depend on your level of subscrition as this would need professional on marketing or sales, I believe. But if you are able to make an activie list with a criteria of ‘completed X form’ of the associated contact to the company, and then make a custom report (not the single object report), and apply a filter of ‘is a member of X list’, you can then do a chart based on the number of companies with the required field. For example, a pie chart of the value of ‘count of companies’ broken by industry.
This will then give you an overview of the answers in form.
