I am looking to create a report of Deals that have a certain type of attachment (the use case is questionnaires). We are happy to do this by using a standard naming convention so that we can filter by any attachment that contains the word “questionnaire”, however when I filter by the only filter I can see as appropriate (File ID), it only allows me to filter by a picklist of the exact file, rather than broadly by any file that contains a word. Is there a way to filter a report to show Deals with Attachments that include a certain word? Or any other suggestions to get us to our goal of reporting on Deals with that type of attachment?

Unfortunately no, this is not possible and I’d recommend creating a list of deals that filters for this attachment which you keep updated by checking new files in the dropdown. Your report would then filter by membership in this list – making it slightly easier to manage this across potentially multiple reports.
This is a shortcoming in HubSpot and the same issue applies to any other dropdown that filters for assets (segments, forms, emails, workflow). The user always has to manually select each asset. There is generally no keyword filter. It’s been requested before and maybe, eventually, we’ll see it implemented. For now, you would have to go the manual route.

Thanks. Is there a way to workflow the name of the attachment into a custom property on the Deal object? Trying to think through workarounds.
@JMillard1 good idea - although I haven’t tested, I would expect it to copy the ID, not file name. But a custom code action (in Data Hub Professional) could probably solve this.
