Report on contacts with most recent activity date and description?

Hi folks,

What’s the easiest way to build a report that shows the most recent activity for each contact that belongs to a list?

The date of the most recent activity is easy, but showing details of the task itself is what I’m stuck on.

Hey @HDINYC

You can try building the above report by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Reports, then click Create Report.
  2. Choose Custom Report Builder.
  3. Confirm that contacts is selected in the primary data source dropdown menu.
  4. Using the left side search bar, locate and select your list under the Add Contacts from a List option.
  5. Drag and drop the activity date property on the x-axis and set it to show the most recent activities.
  6. Drag and drop count of contacts into the y-axis.
  7. Click Run report.
  8. Finally, click Save to add this to your list of saved reports.
