Report of recent/upcoming meetings with company by meeting type

Hi all,

So I’m pulling my hair out on this one as we’re tyring to get our team to move workflow from Excel into Hubspot.

The end goal is to create a report/table that is just essentially three columns:

  1. company name
  2. last catch-up call
  3. next catch-up call.

The catch up calls are set as a meeting type, and all of these meetings have been logged with the appropriate meeting type set.

When I try to set this up using Company and Activity as sources, it just doesn’t seem to work. I can get dates of calls, but when I try to add any activity portion to it, it goes off the rails. I get several entries for the companies. I filter on meeting type, but the meetings that are showing up aren’t actally meetings of that type.

This seems like something that should be simple, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Hi @MCraig4,

Can you please share a screenshot of your report settings?

In any case, it won’t be possible to display the last catch-up call and the next catch-up call. Out of the box, HubSpot reports don’t have a concept of last and next. You would have to set a filter for meetings to have their activity date in the last or upcoming 30 days, for example.

Here are the instructions to get closest to what you’re trying to do:

  • Choose company as primary data source for the report, activities as additional data source
  • Set up the report filters as shown below; if the date filters don’t suit, adjust or delete them

  • Set up the report visualization as shown below

  • Set up sorting to your liking

I understand that’s not exactly what you’re looking for but your described visualization is, as far as I know, not possible.

Best regards!

Thanks @karstenkoehler that seems to be working. Is there any way to do a per column with the filter? So essentially have on column for last thirty days and one column for next thrity days?

@MCraig4 not that I’m aware of, no, unfortunately.

Hi @MCraig4,
Thank you for sharing your specific report use case and for asking the Community!
I understand that, on your report, the meetings are not the right meeting types and you don’t see the dates of the calls.
I’d like to ask some clarifying questions to make sure we help you the best we can:
1. In the filters of the report have you added the specific meeting type that you’d like to see on the report, please?
2. Could you please share with us a screenshot of the filters of the report? Also the property used?
3. Are the meetings of this specific type responding to all the other criteria of the filters?

The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.

I’d be happy to put you in touch with some of our Top Experts on this matter: Hi @Jnix284, @Anonymous and @GrantCarlile do you have suggestions to help @MCraig4, please?
Thanks so much and have a brilliant day!
Best,
Bérangère
