Report for specific marketing email

Hi,

I’m trying to build a simple. report with send numbers, open rates, etc for a folder of marketing emails.

Eeven though in custom reports i can select “marketing emails” the reporting, it’s quite limited.

Is it possible to have a simple report with delivery rate, open rate, etc, when i select the marketing emails i want in that report?

Hi @dmattauch,

Yes and no. Under Menu > Marketing > Email > tab Analytics, you’ll see various default reports. These can be saved to dashboards and filtered by marketing campaign.

In other words, if you associate your marketing emails with a campaign, you can then filter this report section by campaign: Associate assets and content with a campaign

In the past, it has not always worked smoothly for me to associate emails to campaigns after their send. Ideally, you associate the emails with a campaign before the send / before they’re published.

Outside of this, I’m not aware of any reporting features which would let you select specific emails and visualize KPI.

Hi @dmattauch. In addition to what @karstenkoehler shared, I’d ask if you’ve gone into each email individually to see the analytics there. You can also choose multiple emails and compare them (up to 10) side by side. While this isn’t a “saveable report” you can then put on a dashboard, you can copy the URL and use it in a dashboard’s “add external content” option to include email analytics in a dashboard.

Thanks for adding this, @danmoyle! This would be so powerful if it could be saved to a dashboard or if it included aggregated metrics… :disappointed_face:
