Hi!

We are backtracking all our closed and won deals from last year.

Is it possible to build a report that tracks when the deal was closed and not when it entered a certain stage?

Hi @TPang7,

Yes, to create a simple report, showing closed deals by close date (month), navigate to _Menu_ \> _Reports_ \> _Reports_ \> _Create report_ \> _Single object_ \> _Deals_. Under _Filters_, change the date filter to _Close date_ is all time, for example.

In the _Data_ tab, add _Close date_. Then, in the tab _Visualization_, choose a vertical bar chart as chart type. Then move _Close date_ and _Amount_ into the _Displaying_ area. In the top right corner, change the _Frequency_ to _Monthly_.

That should be it. Let me know if you get stuck any point.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your quick answer, I see how that could help us. But we are still not there yet, sorry for being a little unclear.

We are moving our team to Hubspot starting now. So no deals are made from last year, so we need to make them in order to compare for this year.
Our reports are now showing deals won this month when they “entered the stage Closed Won”

So when im making the deals from last year, they are showing up on that report.

Hi @TPang7,

Alright, so the deal report instructions work fine but the data aren’t ‘clean’.

The _Close date_ of deals can be manually changed, this could be done right in the contact record, by bulk editing them or during the initial import. (Should you decide to re-import the deals, make sure to include the deal ID, otherwise HubSpot will create duplicates.)

Yes, I changed the close date manually.

This is a report we want in our dashboard. It tracks all the bookings for this month. But this 2 deals is closed in 2022 and is something we dont want to show.

Hi @TPang7,

In the top left corner, you’re filtering for an ‘Entered Stage Date’ property, not the ‘Close date’. If you change that, the deals will disappear if they have an earlier close date.

Best regards!

Yes, but then it also shows all the deals in other stages “offers sent” with expected close date this month aswell. We only want to show deals that is won.

Hi @TPang7,

To achieve that, under Filters (top left corner), you would add a filter for _Deal stage_ and only select the won stages.

Best regards!
