Replacing Twitter icon with new 'X' icon in email footers

Hello,

I’ve recently looked at updating our email footer to replace the Twitter logo with the new X logo as the rebrand has been live for a couple of months now. Is there way to do this natively within Hubspot yet?

I have attempted to do this myself by uploading a .png of the X logo but, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that there’s a way to get this to display at the same dimensions as the other default social media logos in the footer and it appears bigger despite adjusting the image resolution.

Does anyone know a solution to either of these issues?

Hi @RMorgan34,

We are happy to see you here!

Currently, we utilize the bird logo as Twitter has not yet released updated brand guidelines. Additionally, they have not provided any guidance to other brands, including HubSpot, regarding the implementation of the new logo. As soon as we receive clear instructions from Twitter, we will promptly update our default modules to reflect these changes.

Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter!

Best regards,

Diana

Hi, Do you know when the brand guidelines will be received and updated?

Aren’t these the brand guidelines? Do these work? About X | Our logo, brand guidelines, and tools

Is there an update on this? HubSpot sent emails/newsletters have the X in the footer

Dear Hubspot,

Is there a roadmap for the creation of the Hubspot version of the X brand symbol? We are constructing a brand new website and cannot launch it with a logo that is six months outdated or a message stating that “we are waiting for brand guidelines”.

Have a great day.

Best regards,
Joachim

Requesting an update on the avaiability of an updated X social media icon.

Hi @JWebb99,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You can download the new brand kit, including the updated X logo here. Once downloaded, you can then upload the new “X_Logo” to your account.

To replace the existing icon:

  • Hover over the social icons and edit the module.
  • Open the Rich Text Content.
  • Select the Twitter logo.
  • Click “Replace image”.
  • Choose your new X logo.

I’ve also attached a GIF to show you exactly how to change the icon for your reference.

I hope this helps!
