Remove required deal stage property from deal creation form

Hi team!
I worked with a customer today with a specific use case for removing the Deal Stage property from the Deal creation form.
Essentially, all their deals in a certain pipeline should be created in a specific stage, hence they would benefit from the following:
1. Remove all other deal stage values from the specific pipeline at the deal creation stage; this is to prevent users from selecting the ‘wrong’ stages
2. Not have the deal stage be a required property to be filled in at the deal creation stage.

It’s a pretty unique use case but I am thinking some of our customers might benefit with more flexbility with regard to this :slightly_smiling_face:

Good work!, and how do you remove the “Creat Deal” option? My Hubspot doesnt allow me to do it, it tells me that the property is part of an object schema.

We have record locking in place for Closed Won deals. The issue we have is that people are creating deals at the Closed Won stage, and therefore locking it immediately, and we need to then unlock the deal so they can add some more info (such as line item amount which cannot be added to the Create Deal Form) so I agree, the ability to default to a certain stage would be great.
