When an Invoice is created, a pop up appears asking who to send it to. We are using the Xero integration and don’t want to send Invoices from HubSpot but from Xero. This is really confusing for Sales people who need to submit the invoice to Xero before it is checked and emailed by the Finance team.
When creating an invoice in HubSpot, it’s common to see a pop-up asking who the invoice should be sent to. This can be confusing for sales teams—especially if you’re using the Xero integration and don’t actually want HubSpot to send the invoice. In your case, where invoices are submitted to Xero for finance to review and send later, the best approach is to disable or bypass the automatic email option in HubSpot during invoice creation. You can do this by ensuring the invoice is marked as a draft or simply not triggering the send function. Alternatively, consider customizing the integration or workflow so that HubSpot only pushes the invoice data to Xero, without prompting for email actions. This way, sales can focus on submitting, and finance can take over the communication part without confusion.
I suggest this Hubspot Xero integration app helps me convert deals to invoices and sync customers and products in real time, eliminating manual work and ensuring accuracy. It helps me create invoices and quotes automatically as deals progress, with flexible triggers for multiple pipelines. Just give a try… HubSpot Marketplace

Just an extra, unnecessary click every time an invoice or quote is created. There should be an option in settings to override this default behavior. I never utilize what the popup forces me to look at immediately after creation.
Completely agree. There should be an option to diasble “send from HubSpot”.
