# Remove adding Contacts emails from Deals

There needs to be an ability to remove the emails that are being associated with a deal. Currently, if you create a new deal (could be for a new client), it attaches all the previous emails connecting to the contact.

This has two MAJOR issues.

1) If I am sharing the information with a client, then they see all the previous conversations with this client that they shouldn’t be seeing.

2) It affects workflows that use the email subject line as a trigger.

On note number 2 I had over 12,000 records get effected and it took me over 80 hours to “fix”, I gave up on it and now my records are super messed up.
