Recover deleted contacts by user before they left company

Hi everyone,
We are having an issue with a sales rep that left the company on bad terms. Before she left, she deleted over 100 contacts assigned to her, then deleted her own hubspot account.

I know there’s a procedure to recover one’s own deleted contacts.

Am I able to somehow recover another user’s deleted contacts?

I tried to re-create her hubspot account under the same email id and logged in as her, but the contacts didn’t show up, nor do I have the recover option.

Restoring contacts is not tied to the user who deleted the contact. Just to confirm, are you following these steps?

Yes, that’s the article I’m following.

I’m logged in with my Super Admin account and when I hit recover, this is the only deleted record I see. We should have over 118 records.

Anything I’m doing wrong?

Thanks Karsten for your willingness to help, I appreciate it.

So the records were deleted Thursday Mar 8 around 11AM GMT.

The user deleted contacts under their name, then deleted their user ID.

When I log in under my ID, I cannot all those 118 deleted contacts.

Hope this makes sense, let me know if more info needed.

Hi Sebastian,

Yes, you can restore removed Contacts, Deals, and Companies.

To restore a deleted contact, company, or deal:

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts, Companies, or Deals.
  2. Click the Actions dropdown menu in the upper right, then select Restore contacts/companies/deals.
