Hello, my Hubspot sales add-in won’t connect to my Outlook anymore after upgrading to Windows 11. It asks me to log in with each email but then takes me to Hubspot directly. When I send the email I can’t connect afterwards either. I’ve tried uninstalling and reconnecting and that didn’t work. I removed cache and cookies too. Is there something I can do? Thanks!
I would separate this into two checks: whether the inbox is connected to HubSpot, and whether Outlook can hand the add-in login back to the add-in.
A practical order:
- In HubSpot, confirm the inbox is still connected under email integrations. Reconnect it there first if needed.
- In Outlook, remove the HubSpot Sales add-in, fully close Outlook, then add it again from the Microsoft add-ins store.
- If the login opens HubSpot in the browser but never returns to Outlook, clear the Office add-in cache, not just browser cookies. On Windows this is usually under the Office/Wef cache in the user profile.
- Make sure Outlook is not running in the new Outlook/PWA mode if you were previously using the desktop add-in.
If that still fails, the useful evidence for Support is: Outlook version/build, Windows 11 version, whether the connected inbox works in HubSpot web, and whether the add-in login window closes or just redirects to the HubSpot app.
Hi @designgroup
Since this started right after the Windows 11 upgrade, I’d first check whether the Outlook add-in is still properly installed and signed in. Windows updates can sometimes reset Office add-ins or stored credentials.
A couple of things I’d try:
- Sign out of HubSpot from the add-in, then sign back in.
- Remove the HubSpot Sales add-in from Outlook and install it again.
- Clear the Office credential cache using Windows Credential Manager, not just your browser cache, as Outlook may still be using old authentication tokens.
- Make sure Outlook and the HubSpot Sales extension/add-in are both fully up to date.
If it’s still redirecting you to HubSpot without reconnecting to Outlook, I’d check whether the same account works in Outlook on another computer. That can help determine whether it’s a local Windows issue or something specific to your HubSpot account.
Just to narrow it down, are you using the new Outlook for Windows or the classic Outlook desktop app? That makes a difference because the add-in behaves a little differently between the two.
