Recipient of Form Submission

Hello everyone,

we have the case that we want to change our recipient of a form to a general email adress. Unfortunately it seems to force me to place a user in it.

Am I missing something? How can I place an “info@…” adress there?

Best regards

Benjamin

You would need to create a user with the info@ email address.

This can be a free view-only user if the user won’t be actively logging in and this is just for notifications :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @BFlory ,

If switching to a general email address (e.g., info@...) doesn’t add significant value, you could simply remove the user from form notifications altogether.

Alternatively, you have the option to:

  • Create a free “info@yourdomain.com” user in HubSpot with view-only access (this won’t consume a paid seat).
  • Use this account for form notifications instead.

Let me know if you’d like guidance on setting this up!

Perfect, I thought of this way but needed some insurance!

Hi @BFlory,

HubSpot forms, by default, send submission notifications to users (i.e., team members with HubSpot accounts) rather than allowing direct entry of a general email address. However, you can work around with the below method and send form submissions to a general/shared email address:

  • Create a HubSpot user with the general email (View Only Seat)
  • Assign this user to receive the form notification.
