Currently, HubSpot notifications for @-mentions can be inconsistent, especially if you are not the owner of a record or if a mention happens multiple times within the same thread or record.
I would like to propose an improvement to the notification system. We need a setting that ensures a user receives a notification every single time they are @-mentioned.
Key Requirements:

Trigger on every mention: Notifications should be sent for every subsequent @-mention in a record or note, not just the first one.

Independent of ownership: Users should receive the notification even if they are not the assigned owner of the contact, company, deal, or ticket.

Multi-channel support: The notification should trigger across all active channels (In-app, Email, and Slack/Teams integrations if connected).
Why this is important: Teams often collaborate on records owned by someone else. If a colleague tags you for help multiple times, or on a record you don’t own, it is very easy to miss crucial updates. Ensuring that every @-mention sends a direct notification will greatly improve team collaboration and response times.
