I was wondering if there was a way to set parameters around specific products.

If you pick product A, you must also pick product options 1, 2, or 3 and then once you pick product A, optional product 1, then you must pick another optional product X, Y or Z.

So then you ultimately pick Product A, Optional Product 1, and Optional Product X.

Is this possible?

Hi @ESigns and welcome to the Community!
We are so glad to see you here!
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
I understand that this would kind of work like conditional properties. Please let me know if that’s not the case.
I’d like to invite some of our Top Experts to join this discussion: Hi @Josh, [@HubSpot\_Corey](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/580930) and @HubDoPete do you have ways to achieve this specific use case to help @ESigns, please?
Thank you very much and have a brilliant day and weekend!
Best,
Bérangère

Can I add some extra ideas here. I’d like some rules like:

- A rep cannot send a quote with zero items
- A rep cannot send a quote with negative margin

In essence I’m trying to create rules that allow our reps to do what they need to do but to catch behaviour that is not in line with our values and rules.

Hi @ESigns and thanks for the tag [@BérangèreL](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/230185)

Sorry for the slow reply, I’ve been away on holidays for the last month. To create conditional properties on Quote line items you’ll need to hard code in the conditions into the quote template. I’ve put a link below to a post that talks about similar solution [https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CMS-Development/Quote-Custom-Terms-based-on-Items/m-p/714613](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CMS-Development/Quote-Custom-Terms-based-on-Items/m-p/714613)
