Hi all, long time consumer of the content, first time poster. We’re trying to setup quotes for our org and want them to be hosted on a custom subdomain.
We understand that this is possible from previous posts and that we need to setup our domain within hubspot. One problem though - we host our website on webflow so our cname records point there and we want to leave that unchanged.
Is there a way to setup our domain so that our subdomain only points to quotes?

Hey @Polarb718 you can just create a new subdomain and point this to your quotes tool without it affecting your website.

For example you could have [www.website.com](http://www.website.com) pointing to webflow, but you could have [quotes.website.com](http://quotes.website.com) pointing to HubSpot. Subdomains can be pointed to anywhere independent of where the other subdomains are pointing!

@TomM2 thanks so much. So from my understanding, I would setup the appropriate cname record in google domains and then connect that subdomain in hubspot? I’m on the marketing starter plan so if I use the subdomain “[quotes.hubspot.com](http://quotes.hubspot.com)” how can I point this specifically at the quote builder so that my emails etc. don’t come from “[quotes.hubspot.com](http://quotes.hubspot.com)” or would I have to pick a more generic subdomain like “[success.hubspot.com](http://success.hubspot.com)” and point it at all the pages?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Polarb718 you can set the subdomain to any name you like. You could call it [Polar.website.com](http://Polar.website.com) [website.website.com](http://website.website.com) [anything.website.com](http://anything.website.com) whatever you like, and connect it to HubSpot. You can use this for any content you like in HubSpot too. For quotes, you just need to select it as the domain to use for quotes in your [quote settings](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/quotes/create-custom-quote-templates#:~:text=To%20set%20a%20default%20domain%20for%20the%20quote%20template%2C%20click%20the%20Domain%20dropdown%20menu.).
