# quote status for workflow

Hi,

Is there any way to use “quote status” to trigger a workflow?

I don’t see it in the list of property options

I want to do a workflow only for quote in “pending signature”

Hi @dmattauch,

If you’re looking for quotes pending signature, you could create a quote-based workflow and enroll by “ESign number of signers required is known AND ESign date is unknown”. Would that work?

@karstenkoehler what about quote status=published? Essentially looking to populate some deal amount fields based on the latest published quote, which might differ from the original deal amount based on the original line items (line items don’t take into account one off discounts for example)

ESign signature date works as a workaround for now. But it would be great to have a way to make workflows, trigger from Status, and also manually update the Status field to signed. Since not all quotes would be signed via e-signature.
