Is there a way we can notify the client that their quote is about to expire?
I tried looking into a workflow but I can’t seem to find an obvious way do set this up.
Any help?

Use a quote based workflow with the enrollment criteria of expiration date and status. Here’s a quick screenshot.

What date does the trigger use as a reference?
I need the client to get notified the day before the expiry date arrives.
I trying to understand what “from now” means.

It uses the expiration date of the quote.
Once the date is less than the time specified, it would enroll. In this example, a deal expiring on 7/27 would enroll because it is less than 7 days from now.
