Hello Community,

i wnant to know someting about dashboard. the same dashboad, can different permission set will have different data range?

for example, the boss can see all companies(100), and sales can only see their own company(20). so the chart about total company is 100 quantity for Boss, just show 20 for Sales with the limit of permission set.

or sales have the same view with Boss in dashboard?

Hi @Jaylin,

Reports will implicitly/automatically filter based on the permissions of a user. So using your example, if a sales person can only see 20 records, the remaining 80 which the manager can see will not show up for them in a report. The report will only show their 20 records.

Best regards

Yes, with the same dashboard, different permission sets can see different data ranges based on their access level. For example, the boss with higher permissions can view all 100 companies, while sales users with limited permissions will only see data for their 20 companies. The dashboard will automatically filter and display only the data each user is allowed to access, so the sales team’s charts and totals will reflect just their assigned companies, not the full dataset visible to the boss. This approach ensures data security and relevance for each role, and is standard in both Hubspot & Google Sheets (using protected ranges and permissions).
If you want to make managing these permissions and dashboards easier, tools like [Superjoin](https://www.superjoin.ai/integrations/hubspot?utm_source=hubspot_community&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=dashboard_data) can help push data into Google Sheets/Excel and you can then automate access controls and keep each user’s view tailored to their role.
