Are you sure this is still the case? I am looking to do the exact same thing (track clicks to a YouTube video through direct mail) and my instinct was to do the same thing as you’ve mentioned, create a HubSpot Tracking URL. But as I was creating it, I noticed this note in the URL textbox “Enter a URL for a page that has the HubSpot tracking code installed.”
We are testing it with a link directly to the YouTube video, but wanted to check in with some experts
