Q2 2026 Product Roundup: Your Questions, Answered

What people are asking about our Q2 Updates

We ran our Q2 2026 Product Roundup Webinar this week and the questions kept coming. Here are the most common ones we received, with answers for each. If you have follow-up questions, drop them in the comments below!

Before we get into it — you can watch the full Q2 2026 Product Roundup recording here.

Google Drive & File Attachments

Q: Can Google Drive files work at the ticket level? I’d love for SOPs to be recommended automatically when a ticket comes in — similar to how Salesforce surfaces documents through search.

Yes! Google Drive files and folders can be attached to all CRM objects. That includes tickets and also contacts, companies, deals, and even custom objects

Email & Workflows

Q: Can you use optimized email send times for automated emails via workflows?

Not yet — optimized send times are currently available for regular (one-to-one and marketing) emails only, not automated workflow emails.

Q: For the Prospecting Agent, do contacts need a communication subscription or marketing contact status? Or can you email any contact in the CRM?

No marketing contact status required. The Prospecting Agent can reach out to any contact in your database, as long as they haven’t unsubscribed from all emails.

Data Enrichment

Q: What sources does HubSpot use for data enrichment?

When you ask HubSpot to enrich a record, it looks at that record’s identifying information (website domain for companies, name and email for contacts) and compares it with HubSpot’s commercial dataset, third-party data providers, and publicly available information from across the internet. If HubSpot finds verified business information across multiple sources, it updates the corresponding properties in your CRM.

Q: Can an agent automatically pull contact data from an email signature into a contact record?

This is already covered by HubSpot’s data enrichment tools — no separate agent needed. Check out Conversational Enrichment for Emails in the Knowledge Base.

Smart Deal Progression

Q: Does smart deal progression pull context from emails, or only from meetings and calls?

This is just for meetings, not for emails. The assumption is that the most critical moments of the sales process happen in meetings.

HubSpot AI Notetaker

Q: How useful is Notetaker in a B2C model where we’re not directly meeting with customers? What are the other use cases beyond sales calls?

Notetaker is designed for sales meetings. The properties it automatically updates are all on the deal record. This can still be useful in a B2C context when a consultative sale happens. But if you’re in an environment where sales happens without meetings (for example, a purely ecommerce motion), notetaker isn’t going to be able to automatically update properties. That said, recording the meeting and having the transcripts in HubSpot would still be worthwhile. You could use search (or Breeze Assistant!) to find testimonial conversations that mention a particular feature, find trends across conversations, etc.

Q: Will Notetaker and Fireflies conflict if we have both set up?

They can coexist — if both HubSpot Notetaker and Fireflies are active on a call, both will take notes independently without interfering with each other.

Q: Can Notetaker analyze customer conversations for marketing insights, like Gong does?

Not automatically, but with the transcripts in HubSpot, you can ask Breeze Assistant any question you want and it will answer it. So you could ask it to analyze the main pain points for a specific contact/company or across all your calls

Q: Will HubSpot use Notetaker call recordings to train Breeze AI? Can we restrict this for legal and compliance reasons?

Notetaker requires the meetings to be recorded. If you’re in an environment where recording isn’t allowed, you won’t be able to use notetaker.

Beta Features

Q: Is the User object live or still in beta?

The user object is live, but you can access the public beta for additional capabilities here: HubSpot Login and Sign in

Q: Sub-tasks aren’t showing up in our interface — is this still in beta?

Yes, sub-tasks are in beta. You can opt in here: Sub-tasks Beta

Breeze AI & Prompting

Q: Is there a resource for learning how to write effective prompts for Breeze AI?

HubSpot Academy has you covered. This short video covers prompting techniques and best practices: Writing Effective Prompts for Breeze AI

Domains & Account Settings

Q: Can we map two custom domains to a CRM account?

The number of domains you can add depends on your subscription tier. Full details here: Subscription Limits for Domains
