A colleague of mine has uplaoded a lot of companies in to Hubspot with their addresses. What they have omitted to do (I dont know why) is not upload the matching address in to the contacts associated with the company
I have now ended up with over 5000 companies with addresses. All the contacts associated respectively, have no address. I am trying to avoid copy and paste the address from the company in to the contact.
The company address details should be exactly the same as the contact associated with the company records
Can anyone advise the best way forward, at the moment I could cry with what has happened

One option, likely the simplest one, is simply repeating the import, only this time you’ll only import information into the contact object and you’re mapping the contact email address and the address information. By mapping the email address, HubSpot will update the existing records and append the mapped address information.
Another option would be setting up a workflow that copies the value from each address field from the company record to the contact record. This would be most easily done with a company-based workflow. You’d enroll companies when the address fields are known, then use the “Copy property value” workflow action to copy the value from the company fields to the contact fields.
In any case: no reason to cry. This should be resolved within a few minutes

I think it would have to be a workflow as I dont have all the email addresses thats the problem. I have never done a workflow yet either

You would enroll companies in a company-based workflow when the address fields are known. You would then use the “Copy property value” action to copy the value of the first address field from company to contact. You would then set up as many other “Copy property value” actions as are needed for the other address fields.

I have done it, for all the fields/properties that form the address forthe company and pushing the data in to the contact. Thank you for the help
