One issue we’re running into with the Prospecting Agent is that any Meeting booked by a Contact - even if it was booked outside of the Prospecting Agent - counts toward the Prospecting Agent metrics. This isn’t how we want to measure performance. We want to report specifically on Meetings that were booked as a result of Prospecting Agent outreach.
As a potential solution, we’re using the Custom Instructions for each Selling Profile to set a UTM Source, which populates the Source of Last Booking in Meetings Tool Contact property. Our goal is to use this information to populate a custom property on the Meeting record so we can accurately identify and report on Prospecting Agent-generated meetings.
However, we’ve run into a couple of limitations:
- The Source of Last Booking in Meetings Tool property is read-only, so once it’s populated, there isn’t a way to clear it. Because of this, we can’t reliably trigger a workflow when a Meeting is created without creating false positives.
- If we trigger the workflow based on the Contact property changing, the available option is to update all associated Meetings, rather than only the most recent Meeting. This could also result in false positives.
Is there another workaround or approach you would recommend for populating a custom Meeting record property that we could use for reporting? We’re specifically looking for a way to reliably identify Meetings that were booked through the Prospecting Agent, not just booked because they were enrolled in the Prospecting Agent.
