We’re struggling to reliably measure when the last completed meeting actually happened in HubSpot.
In practice:
- Our users log both scheduled and completed meetings.
- Meeting outcomes are often updated late, sometimes weeks after the meeting took place.
- Because of that, the “most recently updated” or “last meeting activity” often isn’t the meeting that actually happened most recently.
- Future scheduled meetings also get in the way unless you’re very careful.
The end result is that there’s no simple or reliable way to answer a very basic question: When did we last have a completed meeting with this account/contact?
What seems to be missing is a native property that:
- Only looks at meetings with outcome = Completed
- Uses the meeting start time/activity date, not update or create date
- Always resolves to the latest completed meeting, regardless of when it was logged
- Can be used in reports, lists, filters and workflows
This comes up constantly for things like:
- “Days since last completed meeting”
- Account health
Right now the only option is custom workflows, and those break down as soon as users don’t log meetings perfectly (which is pretty normal at scale).
A built-in property like "Most recent completed meeting (activity/start date) would solve this cleanly and make meeting data much more trustworthy.
