First lets be clear there are two levels of prompt engineering.. As a profession: It isn’t writing the prompts to use in ChatGPT --- it’s the prompts that are used internally within chatGPT. As an end-user, writing prompts to use with ChatGPT/Claude the latest research suggests that shorter prompts function best. For me the biggest trick is giving chatGPT feedback.. Ask it a question and then follow-up. Hi Harry - that’s good info. I’ve been using the iterative approach and find it works pretty well, although things can sometimes go off the rails with MidJourney.
