I just want a report that is products sold by net price in company currency - AKA a PRODUCTS SOLD REPORT.
E.g. a report to say we’ve sold product A in 53 deals. The net value of that over the year is 120,000 CAD
Use cases: Resource planning; are we spending the right amount of resources on products against their revenue contribution?
Should we raise/ lower price on a given product because of avg./ median price we’re selling it at?
Currently, I can generate a report based on deals won, by line item (aka product) and sum the net price, but as we do deals in multiple countries, the result is a mix or currencies.
Easy fix: Add a NET PRICE IN COMPANY CURRENCY property to line items.
More complete fix; allow custom properties in the line items objects.
I have a similar problem. I run a music school, and want to use HubSpot to calculate monthly teacher payments. In my case, teachers are paid based off of invoices PAID, not invoices sent.
What would be nice is if when a customer paid an invoice with multiple line items, it recorded that payment in connection with those line items. Surprisingly, it currently does not do this. You can associate Customers and Deals with an Invoice, which is then transferred to the Payment when a customer pays, but HubSpot does not calculate which portion of a payment corresponds to each line item. I understand that calculating Net Revanue per line item would be a little more complicated because of Fees, Discounts, and Taxes that are calculated at the invoice level (not calculated at the line item level). But at the very least, I would appreciate the abilty to run a report on Gross Revanue per Line Item (before fees, discounts, taxes, & refunds)…
