hi. we are in teh B2B business and in most cases we never find out who uses our products. no contacts of anyone which we can use for marketing. sales partners buy from us and re-sell, but never tell us who bought from them. does anyone have an idea how to achieve this:
1) i want our customers to be able to “register” the products they bought from us (in most cases salespartners). Then we have their contact data.
2) when registering, they receive a free 12 month extension to the warranty
do you know of a good software which we can sign up for and use it so that our customers can self-register there ? ideally, this would be a product which integrates with hubspot so that we can collect adresses and also look up if a warranty does exist in case we are asked for service.
Hey @Maxwell789, thank you for posting in our Community!
I would recommend setting up workflow automation within HubSpot to trigger a series of actions upon form submission. This could include sending a confirmation email to the customer, updating their contact record with the registered product details, and initiating the process for extending the warranty by 12 months.
To our top experts @danmoyle and **@JyoteshG **do you have any recommendations for @Maxwell789?
Thank you,
Pam
Thank you so much @PamCotton for this idea. As far as i can see, all of your suggestion takes place as a series of emails, and then a “field” is updated where our staff can “see” that a certain customer has extended the warranty, and details regarding the warranty e.g. product #, purchase date, and how long the warranty is valid for. Great. Do you have any recommencations on how (apart from email) i can make this information visible to the customer ? what i would really like to have is sth. like a service portal where the customer can login and “see” his registered products. As far as i can tell, the hubspot service Portal only allows the customer to see his servicetickets..
Hey @Maxwell789 and welcome to the community. There’s a lot you can do by customizing the HubSpot experience for sure. It sounds like you’re wanting to create a Partner system in essence. While HubSpot is a great CRM, it’s not the best at being a PRM (Partner Relationship Management) out of the box without customization. There are some solutions in the HubSpot world, including one my company built. It’s called RocketPRM (I linked it there if you’re curious).
You’d need features like custom objects, custom associations, and memberships. That’s why RocketPRM can help - you wouldn’t need to build all that. It’s built for you.
That’s my thought, FWIW.
