Product Download License Key Management

Howdy -

I work for a retailer and one of our vendors sells a digital download and would like us to purchase a block of license keys and then send them out when the customer purchases. Ideally in an automated fashion.

We currently receive the order as a closed won deal with the product as a line item.

What I’m having trouble figuring out is how to store the block of license keys so we can send one to the customer and mark that license key as used.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this in a workflow or any other ideas?
