Hi, I’m having problems with the zapier integration with leads coming into hubspot. We have several forms (typeforms on a website and facebook forms).
There is a zap that should be executed when a new lead enters and it has always worked fine, but since a few weeks ago it is not executed with the leads that enter through typeforms and it is executed when leads enter from facebook. This zap has existed for a long time and has always worked the same way, that is, the lead enters directly from typeforms or facebook to hubspot and the zap detected a new customer with a series of properties and started to do a series of actions.
I hope I have clarified the operation and you can help me. Thank you very much.
*I have spoken to zapier support and they tell me that it is better to talk to you, as zapier usually runs with some leads.
Hi @RO_Salesman and welcome, we are delighted to have you here!
Thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!
I understand that you are using this “Zapier” integration and the zap is not working when a lead comes through Typeform. Please let me know if that’s not the case.
Are you using the Typeform integration as well?
Could you share the code from the zap that is not working, it might help in solving the issue?
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
I’d love to put you in touch with some of our Top Experts and Community Members: Hi @BrianPotter, @CBoccaccini, @trevordjones, @YAydin, @Crystal_Hopper and @johnelmer do you have suggestions to help @RO_Salesman, please?
Have a great day and thanks so much!
Best,

Hi, thank you very much.
I send image of the process, the leads enter well in hubspot along with the property that we ask for but those of facebook if they execute the ZAP and those that come from typeform do not execute the zap. The question is that a lead from facebook or typeform have the same complete properties in hubspot, ie, is ok: name, tlf, email, field1. There is no apparent difference between one and the other.
And the zap is old and has always worked, it has partially stopped working recently. I hope I have clarified something else, thank you very much.
@RO_Salesman, it’s very annoying when “old” things stop working. However, it probably means that one of the systems got an update (or several) and there’s some clash happening. I still have a few questions for you.
Are the leads from Typeform just disappearing? Is there any error message or warning when there’s a failed zap? When you say it has “partially” stopped working, what does that mean?
Did you delete the Zap and rebuild it? I know, I know; the classic “turn it off and back on again” gag. But it works in so many cases. Perhaps the handshake between Typeform/Zap/Hubspot got out of whack somewhere do to an unknown update/change and a rebuild would fix it.
Thank you for continuing to provide us more details.
Thank you very much for your help. We have not tried to rebuild the zap from 0, but we have removed the connection with hubspot and created a new one, but within the same zap.
When I said partially is because apparently it works well with the leads that come from facebook but not with those from typeforms.
We’ll keep looking and I’ll try your recommendations. Thank you very much.
@RO_Salesman from your graphic I thought you were using 2 different zaps, but you’re saying this is 1 zap that is supposed to take changes from at least 2 different sources and process the data the same? Just wanted to clarify that in case it provides insight.
I wonder if it is possible to “pause” the existing zap (so you don’t lose it) and build a new one to test a “new” connection. I do not use Zapier but I’ve worked with other similar integrations so I’m trying to think of solutions that might be common to integrations like this.
Hi @RO_Salesman
I can feel the frustration here Zapier flows often break when one of the upstream apps changes something quietly.
Typeform has pushed several updates over the past months, and I’ve seen cases where the “New Entry” trigger stopped firing even though the data still arrived in HubSpot.
As a quick test, try splitting your logic: create one zap dedicated only to Typeform > HubSpot and another one for Facebook > HubSpot. This makes it easier to see where the failure happens.
Double-check the trigger event inside Zapier. Sometimes Typeform refreshes field IDs or tokens, so the zap still “looks” right but doesn’t recognize the incoming lead. Re-selecting the fields in the trigger step can fix itt
If you haven’t already, rebuilding the zap from scratch is worth trying. It’s annoying, but often clears out hidden mismatches. HubSpot’s docs confirm that Zapier relies on HubSpot’s contact creation/update events, so any mismatch in field mapping can stop the trigger
(Use HubSpot's integration with Zapier)
(Connect and use HubSpot data sync)
If stability is critical and you’re tired of babysitting Zaps, another path is using a managed sync layer. That’s exactly why we built Stacksync to give teams a real-time, two-way sync between lead sources like Typeform, Facebook, and HubSpot, without depending on brittle triggers that break when APIs change.
It handles retries, field mapping, and scale automatically, so your leads flow reliably every time.
Happy to share how other teams solved the same pain if useful.
Hope this helps.
