I am trying to create a simple default “contact =\> company” association. But I am consistantly getting a 404, so I am obviously doing something wrong.
This is what it looks like in Postman (I get the same error in my C# code).

The documentation here [CRM API | Associations v4 (hubspot.com)](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/associations) says:

 ![michaelrandrup_1-1682074422233.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/3/a/3a5d31e1492d0fd4c3981e4048b750e3bbdd618d.png)

So it should be a really simply call?! I hope someone out there can spot the error.
regards,
Michael

Hey, @michaelrandrup 👋 Thanks for reaching out! Did you get unstuck here? If not, I can get an example using Postman for us.

You are associating an existing Contact to an existing Company, correct?

Best,

Jaycee

Hi Jaycee,
Thanks for responding! And yes, and I am sorry I forgot to close this topic down again.
It turned out that everything was working as shown, but the URL itself contained some hidden characters that was not displayed in either Postman and Visual Studio (hence the 404). I found out by copying the URL into MS word and tuning on “show hidden characters” – there’s a couple of hours I won’t get back in my life 😊

Hi, @michaelrandrup 👋 Thanks for letting us know! I’ve been down that same road. So frustrating!

Thank you, I was having the exact same issue and this comment just solved my problem. I copied the URL into sublime and typed it out, making sure both looked exactly the same. Copied my re-typed URL back to Postman, and suddenly it worked.
