Hi,

I have been problems to update a deal using API. I tried to use to old and the new call, but in both cases I got an error.

I used:

1. [https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/2347279499?hapikey=xxxxxxx](https://api.hubapi.com/deals/v1/deal/2347279499?hapikey=xxxxxxx)

2. [https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/deals/2347279499?hapikey=xxxx](https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/deals/2347279499?hapikey=xxxx)

and it returned:

\<html\>
\<head\>
\<meta http-equiv=“Content-Type” content=“text/html;charset=utf-8”/\>
\<title\>Error 405 Method Not Allowed\</title\>
\</head\>
\<body\>\<h2\>HTTP ERROR 405\</h2\>
\<p\>Problem accessing /deals/v1/deal/1295450. Reason:
\<pre\> Method Not Allowed\</pre\>\</p\>
\</body\>
\</html\>

The DealId exists and I used this method during the weekend and it’s working fine.

Any Idea. Thanks.

Hello @kaleperez

This error seems to be because of the api request url not getting formed correctly. Can you once check if the url on which you are sending request is typed correctly ( no extra slashes or spaces)? And it should be the **PUT** request **not POST** one.
Thanks
