# Problem Creating Tasks

Hey @THoltman-124F thank you for posting in our Community!

Could you please check if you have ‘Everything’ Tasks permissions? Currently, if a user has only task permission and no edit/create access for other object types it will not be able to create a task.

To create and edit tasks, you must have at least “owned only” permissions on one of the other object types.
