# problem connect wordpress Error message

“some error occured please try again after some time or use manual connect method”

Someone have a solution?

Thanks for asking the Community!  
I understand that you are trying to [install and use the HubSpot WordPress plugin](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/install-the-hubspot-wordpress-plugin). Please let me know if that’s not the case.

In the link [@BérangèreL](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/230185) has provided, there are 3 bulletpoints that are usually the cause of all Wordpress-connector-related problems!

- Your website or blog must use a [WordPress.org](http://WordPress.org) install, or be on the [WordPress.com Business plan](https://wordpress.com/pricing/?_gl=1*1kcjqp3*_gcl_au*MjEyMzg5NDg1OS4xNzMwNjQ2OTk0*_ga*ODkwODc1MDk3LjE3MzA2NDY5OTQ.*_ga_LXTM6CQ0XK*MTczMTQ4OTY3NS4zOS4wLjE3MzE0ODk2NzUuNjAuMC4w). Any other plan with [WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) (e.g., Premium, Personal) [will not allow for plugins or JavaScript](https://wordpress.com/support/code/#javascript) and will not be compatible with the plugin.
- Your WordPress version should match the [plugin requirements](https://wordpress.org/plugins/leadin/?_gl=1*1kcjqp3*_gcl_au*MjEyMzg5NDg1OS4xNzMwNjQ2OTk0*_ga*ODkwODc1MDk3LjE3MzA2NDY5OTQ.*_ga_LXTM6CQ0XK*MTczMTQ4OTY3NS4zOS4wLjE3MzE0ODk2NzUuNjAuMC4w). - You must be a WordPress admin to install plugins for your site.

I have always used manual install as this is the most straightforward and offers the greatest degree of control. You can find this here:
