# Private Shared Access to Reports

Currently it seems you can only have private reports or shared reports that are editable or view only access.  
It would be nice to have the ability to have a private dashboards that are shared with specific people. As it stands, there is no way to segment access to various dashboards and all are public (if you have reports access).

There are sharing options to accomplish that. Navigate to your dashboard and click whatever is shown at the top right corner under “Assigned” and then “Edit access”:

You can now choose users or teams who should be able to _View_ and edit or _View only_:

Hey Karsten,

Appreciate the response, I do not get those options - I am a super admin on our instance as well. I’m wondering if there is a caveat, permission, or setting that I am missing to gain visibility to those options. Currently I only get the top two options for private to owner and everyone (with only view or view and edit perms).

Very curious, was the dashboard created by you? If yes, I’d reach out to HubSpot support to investigate the issue (via the purple help widget in the bottom right corner). If not, can you try on a dashboard created by yourself?

Hey @karstenkoehler,  
Contacting Support was going to be my next move, right after seeing your post I thought to myself that this may not be a dashboard I personally created but even after creating my own, I never got those options to be visible. Thanks for the help!
