I’m creating a Price Book, and I’d like the line items to display in a certain order. I’ve tried adding the line items to the Price Book in the order of how I want them to display, but after saving, the Price Book re-orders the line items. There is currently no way to drag and drop line items in a Price Book so that they display in a certain order.
The reason I want my Price Book line items to display in a certain order is so that when I create a quote, the line items from the Price Book already display in the order that I want them displayed on the quote. Each of our quotes has 20-30 line items, and I don’t want to drag and drop all of them into the correct order every time I have to create a quote.
Any suggestions on how I can create a default display order of line items in the Price Book so that that same order can display when I’m creating a quote?
I’m not familiar with a native woarkaround for this, but I might suggest taking a look into this resource here that might point you in the right direction: Customize quotes with branding and templates
The above KB notes that line items added to a template are automatically added to quotes using it, and sellers can add or remove items as needed.
If we’re not able to find any workarounds here, I may recommend submitting this to the Ideas Forum.

That worked. Thanks everyone! As long as I added those numbers to the beginning of the product name, the order displayed correctly in the Pricing Book.
