Does anyone know of a way to stop newly published blogs from being picked up by an automated blog roundup newsletter? It would be helpful to select which blogs you want to promote to your community rather than all recently published ones.

If your blog is being automatically promoted as part of your instant/daily/weekly/monthly blog subscription emails you can get around this by selecting to back-date the publish date of your blog post (even if its just by a few minutes). When you do this you’ll see a notice pop-up saying this post won’t be automatically published via socials or your newsletter as a result.
