Be able to have a prefix or suffix property for the contacts name.
You have first name, last name and spouse, but what about people who Dr., Rev. and etc. Or they are Robert James, III or even more IV. These would be nice to have an be better for searching records.
From a UX standpoint: it’s stupid that this doesn’t exist yet!
Think about it: In a small company where everyone knows every lead that comes in: No problems!
But in a large company where people may get passed, this really sets a person up for an embarrassing experience! Don’t get me wrong, YES, they might see it in the notes, YES, we can add it elsewhere, but why wouldn’t it be a convenient part of the name? We don’t call a reverend anything BUT reverend unless we’re SUPER close -like family- and typically leads in HubSpot we’ve only just met! Low-hanging fruit, HUGE UX improvement. Just sayin’

When will HubSpot be updating the contact field to include “Prefix”. It seems like this has been requested several times.

I’m also surprised this isn’t standard. It’s a hard sell to users for them not to include “Dr.” in the contact’s first name if the prefix and suffix fields aren’t part of the main name that shows most places. I’ll probably work around this for now by using a custom property to calcuate full name with prefix and suffix (also custom) included and try to place it prominently, but it’s no real substitute for including those in the default name fields that show at the top of the contact page and in the first column of the contact index.
